Not all WEX Motorpass cards require activation. If your card requires activation, the welcome letter that comes with your new WEX Motorpass fuel card will contain activation instructions.
If you’re an account holder, you can activate your card in the Online Service Centre:
Click through to the Cards section and then select the Activate Cards button. This will bring you to the list of cards that need activating (if you cannot see the Activate Cards button, this means you have no cards waiting to be activated).
To activate your card, you can either enter the activation code from the welcome letter provided with your card (note, this code is only valid for 30 days from the date of issue), or use the Get New Card Activation Code function to receive a newly generated, valid activation code at any time.
Both account holders and cardholders can also activate their card by calling 1300 110 920.
If you’re an account holder:
You will need your account number and the card number, mobile number linked to the account, plus a verification code and an activation code.
The verification code is sent to you via SMS to a mobile phone number registered on the account. This code is only sent when you call 1300 110 920 to activate your card.
The unique activation codes for each card that needs activating are included in the welcome letter for your new WEX Motorpass cards. Please note that the card activation codes in your welcome letter expire in 30 days from the date the letter was issued.
If you’re a cardholder:
You will need your card number, plus a verification code from your account holder and an activation code.
